A local eat-in deli (Sam’s Subs) has contracted with you to review and recommend strategies relating to wireless Internet access within their organization. Sam’s has continued to use IEEE 802.11 WEP encryption because their information technology manager has asserted that most of their wireless transmissions do not need to have strong security because it is too much of an inconvenience and would slow down the network to the point that it would be unusable.

Sam’s would like to increase security on their wireless network.  However, they have also decided to create a public WLAN for their customers to use while at their deli.  Conduct research regarding how to implement two WLANs concurrently – a protected WLAN and an unprotected public WLAN – yet still provide strong security for the deli.  Write a report, of no more than 5 pages of narrative, outlining your recommendations and how the WLANs would be configured, along with any other recommendations you deem appropriate.  Use APA style, 12-point font with double line spacing.
