Tribute Speech

Students must prepare a three to five minute speech paying tribute to a person, living or dead. Criteria for evaluation include how well a student develops the person's laudable characteristics and accomplishments. NOTE: YOU CANNOT PRESENT A SPEECH ON A FRIEND OR RELATIVE. Structure your speech in this manner:

Introduction
Body:

Person's educational accomplishment, community service, professional accomplishments, personal philosophy on life, the reasons why you selected to pay tribute to this person. Include at least 3 references for your speech.

Conclusion: Summarize main points of the speech.
