"Just-in-time" world
In
today’s "Just-in-time" world, organizing plays a very key role. Consider
auto manufacturing. On a given day car doors, seats, exhaust systems,
tires, paint, transmissions, engines and many other parts arrive at the
receiving dock and drive off the production floor as an automobile
within a span of 24 hours. This vehicle didn’t come together by itself. In
this discussion, do some research on the topic of logistics management
or other aspect of management that exemplifies the organizing function
of management. See if you can find an interesting case/example to
present to the class.
