What is required of health care professionals in addressing instances of criminal behavior (e.g negligence, fraud, theft) in the workplace? In answering this question , consider what is required by the principles of beneficence and of non-maleficence. As well, consider the matter in relation to both the value of loyalty, the requirements of confidentiality, the right to conscientious objection, and the act of whistle-blowing.
