book reflections

Critique Assignement :    Each student will be required to submit a five page typed critique on each of the four required books (not the case book). The papers will not only be graded for content, but also for spelling, grammatical styling, neatness, etc. Any outside information must be properly footnoted and referenced. The purpose of this assignment is for you to develop a critical eye toward management literature that you read. You should be asking yourself questions such as: What did I learn from this book that will make me a better leader?, How can I use this information in the future?, Was it worth reading why or why not, site examples of how you could have used and will use the knowledge gained in your work and personal life. Students will be required to complete an essay critique on the text, Sustainable Communities and the Challenge of Environmental Justice which argues for the creative reframing of urban space and social justice issues. In this critique, students will be asked to develop and reflect on their own concepts of justice as it relates to an environmentally sustainable future and its intersection with the Hospitality Industry.
